How to install glass block?

I want to replace a window in our newly-converted shower with glass block and I was wondering if anyone has advice on it. Is it complicated for someone handy? How do you keep the wood around the window from rotting from the shower spray?

Be careful. I've seen a bunch of these cause rotting like crazy because they weren't flashed properly.

Elaborate??? I haven't really looked into the information like CAD, but I don't know what "flashed" means. It makes me think of a chimney.

rebooters - i think that ideally, the glass block would be part of the renovation, i.e. the sill would be removed and framed with durock before tile installation. but you can probably still do it. check out this thread link and search the forums on the same site. hope that helps.
