How to Cure a Bruise

So after the great idea I had last night of playing football with the guys, I’m left with a few large, painful bruises on my arm. I’ve heard many ways to speed up healing time; however, I’ve never really tried anything in the past and just let the bruises take their course.

I did ice my arm down last night, but this morning my arm is still really sore. I grew up playing sports, so I’m used to bruises, but I have some big events coming up soon and really do not want to look like I got beat up in my dresses.

Anyone have any good suggestions to throw my way? Anyone try placing a hot towel on the bruise?

Thank you times a hundred in advance!

Ice is about all you have to work with. Unless you know where to get some leeches.

You might try heat and gentle massage to distribute the blood and lighten the coloration AFTER 48 hours of ice.

Ibruprophen is also good in reducing swelling so you might try that but the coloratin damage is probably already done.
