how much can you get lower level for scalping?

I have mezzanine seats for most of the upcoming games and bought via the ticket office in Bellmont. Like $15 face for the Big 12 games.

If I next year want to say screw it and scalp for the games, what am I looking at? For games like A&M? I have scalped only a handful of times for b-ball games. I usually have tix in hand.
 
I don't know about a game like A&M. That's always one of the few big games on the schedule.

I do know lower level tickets were going cheap for the Iowa State game, which is unfortunate. A buddy got one for $25, and that was an hour before tipoff. I'm sure it would have been cheaper the closer to tipoff it got.
 
Honestly its not a bad route to take for most of the home games. There will be those couple of games that are super popular and you'll probably have to pay premium. Lots of times lower level ticket holders won't be using all of theirs and will sell them outside the arena prior to tipoff...they don't usually ask a ridiculous amount...they are just interested in getting the seat filled in most cases.

I've never had season tixs to B'ball and 99% of the time scalp prior. I also NEVER pay over face. I just walk by the scalper pros and find an Orangeblood who'll sell me one for face or under.

Took less than 5 minutes for TJ's last mobilehoma game and I had mezz front row mid-court - camera right next to me was the only thing closer to the stripe up there. Sat 20 rows behind our Team for KU last season and 20 rows up on the mid-court stripe for one of the games last season - can't recall. I'm a Barnes Benchwarmer or somewhere down low if not in the OZone otherwise.

does anyone know of any type of sub-let market for the suites that are empty a lot of the time.

I am talking about a per game basis.

Surely someone is looking to recoup a little of that if they are not going to go.

I have looked for two years now and nobody seems to have heard anything.
 
buy from orangebloods and not scalpers. can't tell you how many times i'll see a dad and son about to get screwed by a scalper when a true orangeblood steps in and give them his/her tickets for a fair price. this does not make the scalper happy.

I guarantee that you could not even think about paying face for the Texas/A&M game the year we had Durant. That wa s ahuge game and I paid 4x face for upper deck (which was the going rate). Not comparing it to this season or anything, just responding to the guy that said he always scalps for face value and nothing more.
 
I tried scalping for an OU game here about 3-4 years ago for a game that I didn't have tix. I couldn't find anything less than 2x face. Upper deck and lower deck. We went to Fox & Hound and watched the 1st half there. Fox & Hound was so packed from others watching the game that one of our buddies could not get in so we left Fox & Hound and went to Lavaca Street Bar & Grill.

But that was a very hot game at the time.
 
For atm game on Saturday, there were a lot of people selling lower level tickets for face value. I saw a guy selling 2 together for face as we were walking in, and had 3 or 4 friends pay face for lower level tickets that they bought walking to the game.

It was not difficult at all for that game. I imagine OU will be much different.
 
aggy game - Durant - used my inside source with a wrist band for Shortstack and me. 20 rows up in OZone - what one HELL of a game that was.

You got me, Buster. Although the cost was free so maybe not...

Yall aren't doing something right if A) You can't find tickets or B) you are paying 4x for a upper level ticket. Ouch.
