How many seniors does a college team usually have?

Watching Navy~Tulsa.
Navy has 34 seniors graduating (and they are graduating)

So with 25 a class that means 10 red shirts. Isn't that a lot?

and they are paid for every month that they remain in school (if they drop out they face several years in the Navy as an enlisted person.

true and they pay us back sometimes with their lives.
I am happy to see Navy beating Tulsa
However I think they can leave an academy after 2 years with no penalty. if they stay for the third year they have an obligation
