How long?!

How long will America despise the Heat and Lebron for the decision farse? ESPN Jeff Van Dundy said the statue of limitations is past and it is time to forgive and forget and move on and put aside that bitterness for something in the past. He has been ranting and raving about this for the past two Heat playoff games so get with it America. Van Dundy rules.

I don't despise Lebron and I also think that people should move on from "The Decision" if they haven't already. But, I do think another championship series loss will go a long way to further humble him after his bone-headed title prediction ("not five, not six, not seven . . . .").

I recognize that he's a phenominal player, and the odds of eventually winning a title are in his favor. But not this year against the Thunder.

Hey. i do not despise him.

I just like him less than all of the other NBA players.
Well, except maybe dwayne wade.

Pretty soon he's going to have to put it under his ears to keep it from falling off.

I feel bad for James. I think he had immediate regret for all of "The Decision" stuff, which was tailor-made by his agent and ESPN. Now he has a 17/10/6 game, and everyone jumps on the "look Lebron sucks!" bandwagon.

Lebron is the best player in basketball (even his critics concede that usually) but his ego and his posse made it impossible to cheer for him. Jordan had an ego bigger than Lebron's but he never pulled the crap Lebron has and that is why people could cheer for him. Lebron will win a couple of titles maybe even getting his first this year but I wont be cheering for him and he has a small window as I fully expect in the next couple of years that Durant will supplant him as best player in the league and the thunder go on a run of several championships.

LeBron is an amazingly great player on the court, one of the best ever, but why should I or any other fan move past the most ridiculous display of doucheness in the history of American sports?

This series makes me think of the VY MNC game. Vince was obviously the best player on the field despite the crappy Heisman. In the end he had the last laugh holding the crystal football. Go Kevin!!!

Ditto what South Austin said and I'm a North Austin guy.

I respectfully disagree that James is the best player in the NBA. Maybe it's my burnt orange glasses but I'd give the nod to Durant.
