How is Doc's for games?

KVET 1300AM does MNF there (or used to) and now is doing the MNC game there tonight. Was thinking of going. Never been but not far from work or home. Do they have HDs?

I enjoy Doc's. Get there early and get one of the taller bar tables. You can view the tv's above the bar.

The ground beef nachos are outfuckingstanding

They have some great deals on Monday for football, not sure if they are going to change that now that MNF is done. (2 for 1 burgers, cheap domestic pitchers)

Awesome place to hang out on a warm day and nice draft beer selection.

Friendly local ownership too, they have HDTVs but I don't think they were feeding them an HD signal IIRC.

I bet it isn't an HD if they don't feed it HD signal. Getting HD broadcast is cheap compared to getting an HDTV.

If they get HDs, I'll be going there. Otherwise, I'll watch it at home on my HD or at friends on theirs.

I watched the Alamo Bowl at Joe's bar on 5th and West. They have a projection HDTV in the front and all the other TVs are non-HD. ESPN had the games sync'd for the HD and non-HD feeds. Very cool of them.

Joe's is good and local. HD only on the projector in front. Just installed a screen on the back patio too but haven't seen it in action yet.

Getting shell macaroni and cheese with ball park franks is interesting to say the least!

the screen on the back is pretty awesome...but the skeeters will eat you alive out there when it's warm outside.
