How I Met Your Mother 3/31

I actually forgave CBS for its shameless March Madness plugging. Loved the round-by-round arguments leading up to the Final Four.
 
This show is peaking right now IMO.

I re-watched the episode from St paddy's day the other night and in the middle of the episode Ted randomly runs into some girl at the bar they kind of look at each other and smile and walk away. I wonder if that's going to be his wife, since she was at that party/bar. It happens right after he finds out the chick is married on his way to tell Barney she's married. There is no other reason I can think of for this random part of the show.

I wonder if when the wife is finally known if there will be an episode showing all the times she has been close by to where they were...or actually on screen.

Just something to think about...
 
monday 7:30 - 8:30 on cbs is the best hour of comedy on tv. HIMYM was stellar, but the Two and a Half Men episode following was the BEST episode of TAAHM to date. that show is irreverent and knows no limits.

the writers strike was definitely a GOOD thing.
 
this show has really grown on me over the last 6 months.
I have to overlook the doucheyness of Ted though.
 
Did anyone else notice Madeline Allbright's face in there when all of Barney's conquests were flashing through his mind?

I love the forst three of the sitcoms on Monday night. Sadly the New Christine show is just awful. Really takes the edge off the night
 
been watching since day one, it is one one of the best shows on tv.

however, i thought the march madness plug was painfully weak and found the episode to be terrible.

the doctors comment about st paddy's day was a ringer, but i don't believe they will provide any firm direction on who he marries anytime soon, if ever.

random afterthought, but the episode with the college flashbacks where they eat "sandwiches" is a gem.
 
I resisted this show for a long time while my wife watched it. I think it might have been the "sandwich" episode that sucked me in for good. This episode was greatness. Barney is greatness. The Link


Has that dark haired main character girl always been this hot. thought she was a little chubbier earlier in the show's life.
 
I can't say enough good things about HIMYM. Everyone told me to watch but I didn't start until about a year ago. Now, I think it's the best written show on television. It rewards the repeat viewer and gets better every time I watch.

As a bonus, the two best show endings were the St. Patty's Day episode and the bracket one - both ending with Barney saying "I'm awesome". I can't imagine that ever NOT being funny.
 
The chick Ted bumped into at the St. Patty's party lifted his cell phone. So that she could later call him and apologize for the dude who gave him a shiner 10 seconds later. She hasn't called Ted yet because she called some numbers in his cell phone and in so doing discovered that Ted's friend Barney is a monster. Hence she is sabotaging Barney's current conquests.
That's how I see it playing out.

I love the show. Very funny. Canadian chick is hot. Barney is awesome.
 
The whole night of comedy on CBS is greatness.

Big Bang Theory - Sheldon is funny as ****
Two and 1/2 men - Great
How I met your mother is excellent

Even Christine is funny too. That woman will do anything for a laugh (so will the show).
 
I don't watch TAAHM, but The Big Bang Theory and HIMYM are really good. Well, HIMYM is epically good and TBBT is just regular good
 
Even though I still DVR and watch Big Bang, I don't think it's that great...at all. I laughed once at the last episode. I laughed at least twice before the themes song of the other 2. I used to watch Christine but not much lately.
 
Just started watching season 1 of this show. This is easliy the best comedy on tv (if not the best show period). I didn't realize we are already into season 4. I have a lot of catching up to do.
 
I've enjoyed this show when I remember to tune in. But I guess I'm not passionate enough about it to call it the best on TV.

It's no 30 Rock.
