How Good is KState?

I have seen them several times. If we play like we did against aggy, we lose by double-digits. At KSU, I think even a Carolina-like performance doesn't guarantee a win.

Dude, push away from the crack-pipe. If Texas plays like it did against UNC, TX wins by double digits. However, anything less than excellent D with constant pressure on Clement (sp?) and productive and opportunistic offense will result in a loss. We will see who shows up, but the ISU and aggy efforts will not get it done.

I have a bad feeling about this game...I am not sure if the a&m game will help focus Texas or whether it drained them. We need to play our best game, and try not to let them get out to an early lead. Our defensive play on their guards will decide the game.

I look for Pittman to have a bounce back, but K-state to be shooting for the win when the game is done.

Honestly, I don't really care if we win tonight or not, I just assume we lose either tonight or Saturday. This team looks like the pressure is starting to get to them and I think a loss might get their attention and might get them back to enjoying the journey

Apparently good enough to induce a lot of confidence on their b-ball forum. Will need a top effort to beat K-State on the road. Dex has to play big, fight harder for loose balls, and dominate the offensive glass. That said, the guards need to feed him early and often and everyone else, clear the paint. If they double-down, whip that ball back out for a 3. Simple game. Just need to execute.

I'm not sure losing, just to lose, is going to benefit this team.

I don't see much difference in the top 5 or 6 in the Big 12, they are all very difficult to beat at home and they can beat you on the road also.

Kansas State is pretty deep plus they have a guy on their team who scored 44 against Texas last year.

If Texas is No. 1, KSU is No. 2 and A&M is No. 3. In other words, this team is not deserving of being No. 1. They are struggling against adversity too much to be the BEST team in the country.

Just shows you being ranked # 1 in January means very little and does not mean you are the Best team. I think Texas can be a really tough team come March if they work hard to improve.
