How do YOU eat your Sloppy Joes?

Me, I like 'em with mustard, cheese and pickles. I call it Whataburger style!

My wife hates them like that and says it nearly grosses her out to have anything but meat and sometimes the cheese on there.

So Hornfans, I ask y'all, How do you like your Sloppy Joes, Manwiches, whatever you wanna call them?

Oh and if you're too uppity to admit eating sloppy Joes keep your yap shut and move on!

Yeah, your way weirds me out a bit as well. I don't think I've ever had it any other way than open faced, sloppy joe on top of bun. Maybe closed sammiches when I was younger. Never anything but the sloppy joe and bread.

Anything you want on the sloppy joe except the cheese should be cooked in with it. I don't usually use cheese but could see why others would want to.

put buns in the oven with sliced american cheese on top and bottom. Bake/toast at 350 until cheese is melted.

Kids: put sloppy joe meat mix on bottom bun, put top bun on and enjoy.

I add hamburger dill slices to the bottom bun and then the sjmm. Before I put the top bun on, i sprinkle Tabasco Habanero sauce on the smjj. Used to use regular Tabasco, but it takes a lot more to get heat and you get a more vinegary sloppy joe.

The meat/cheese boundary is heaven and keeps the bread from getting soggy.

the question is not how you eat a sloppy joe, but why you would eat one. Those things are horrible. I would find a good chopped beef bbq sandwich instead.

Use ground deer meat, make a homemade sauce (ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, chili powder, worchestershire, etc.)

I add japs, chipotle tabasco, cheese.

We call them Sloppy Doe's. Good eatin' right there.
