Is he digging up moles? You can scoop poop and put in his current holes to keep him from digging anymore in those.

I posted this after I saw that she had dug a huge hole in the middle of the grass. This was the first time for that, she usually digs in dirt that's already loose. About twenty minutes later, she threw up an absurd amount of dirt and grass on the living room rug. Why would she dig a hole and eat everything from it?? Dogs are so disgusting.

My dog does it too! I about broke my ankle the other day when my foot slipped into one of the holes. I'll try the poop in the hole approach.

The only thing that worked with my late, great German shorthair pointer was to exercise the hell out of him. 4 miles+ per day stopped his digging, and also halted his chewing on various things in the backyard. Now that he has gone to that big Alpo factory in the sky, I've reverted back to being a sofa spud.

Find a Dirt Mamba tamer or get ahold of one that has no venom, which is lethal. Have it inhabit a hole and when the dog digs down, it gets zapped by the Dirt Mamba. It is native to Texas and a few other places where there is dirt.

She gets tons of attention and we walk 3-5 miles almost every day. I don't leave her out in the yard, this all happened in about a fifteen minute time frame when I let her out to go potty and let her stay out for a few extra minutes. I guess I'll have to look into non-venomous Dirt Mamba rental. Should be a piece of cake.

My pup recently started digging, found the wires to the sprinkler system, and proceded to dig them all up, following them all the way to the wall.

I've heard that some reasons why dogs dig is that when its hot they're looking to open up some cooler ground to lay in. Wouldn't explain it now that the weather is cooler, but try giving it a sandbox and put some treats in the box. It seamed to work with my two labs.

I saw a truck with signage of their painting, repair, lawn and Dirt Mamba service for Central Texas.

Central Texas Fix-It and Mamba Service.

Did not catch the number but maybe that will help. I think you can rent one for a few bucks a day but you have to sign a waiver. The chances of them still having venom when you get first get it are slim. But you have to do or have proper de-venomization performed to increase the odds of a bite not being lethal.

Seriously, it looks like Cesar's going to be in Texas…

"If you live in the Houston area, send us your audition tape. We're looking for a wide variety of dog problems, including unusual phobias, obsessions, fearful behavior, aggression, or any other unique situations that Cesar could help transform."
