how do i add an animation

I can't figure it out. How do i add an animation at the bottom of my post.

I can't get this to work. I've got the picture's URL in my signature part. I post -- and nothing shows up. Do some pictures not work?

Many sites disable remote linking of images. You have to view it on a page coming from their server or you get the red X.

That picture is just not going to work unless you put it on another server.
