How did Miami get a regional?

They finished 3rd in the ACC at 16-14 and got a #! seed, we finished 3rd in the B-12 14-10 and don't get invited? Why play a season if it's decided in conf tourney?

That's an excellent question. We didn't deserve to make the tournament the way we finished but Miami sure didn't deserve a 1 seed.

So Texas is not one of the top 64 teams in the country when we finish 3rd in the B12? Didn't we win 6 out of 8 conf series?

We lost our last three series and were 4-8 in our last twelve games. We likely would have made the tournament had Missouri not gotten the automatic birth by winning the conference tourney. Miami should not have been a 1 seed and we did not have a strong enough RPI to overcome the way we finished.
