saw the highlight run by brown, but i was wondering how aaron green looked. can someone give me a recap? thanks.

He looked pretty darn good. Quick.

I was more impressed than i thought i would be, especially after i was not all that "wowwed" by his YouTube reel.

Smooth, quick with good speed. Fumbled a couple of times that almost cost his team. IMO not an every down back at the next level, rather a player that needs to be moved around. He could play some at running back, slot, wildcat, punt returns, kick returns. Green would look great in orange.

i have followed Green since his Soph year. the kid is amazing. a total shame he was injured 1/2 way thru the season last year...otherwise i sincerely believe his visibility would have been much higher. IMHO, he is as good as advertised or better. not just a good fb player...he is a really good (& smart) kid, just the kind we like on the 40 acres.

AG can make all the moves, stop on a dime & give you 9 cents change, then going 100 % on next step. good power for a small kid. i really hope he picks UT, but if not, i sincerely wish him well where ever he goes.

Had a good buddy who lives in Dripping Springs who went to the game and was damn near giving me play-by-plays (the little lady was none too happy with this). He was absolutely amazed by Green. He said MB is the real deal but he said that Green's speed just floored him.

It would be VERY nice to have both young men in the Burnt Orange. It would seem the term "Thunder & Lightening" wouldn't describe this tandem enough. More like "Shock & Awe", to borrow an appropriate phrase, if I may.

Green was definitely quicker and hitting holes, but then again, Brown didn't really have any holes. Green also kind of holds the ball in a haphazard way, which is correctable, but look at what happened with Charles in some of our important games.

I feel that on the same team, Brown would still outperform because of his ability to take hits.

"a total shame he was injured 1/2 way thru the season last year...otherwise i sincerely believe his visibility would have been" ____________________________________________________________ How much higher visibility could he have. He's about #9 overall nationally the last Top100 I saw. Perhaps it even made him hungrier.

I like his one-on-one interviews. He's very confidant without being arrogant or cocky. I think we should get him for sure. Just about any other year you'd give your left nut to have a guy like this.

Do they track fumbles for high school running backs? They should.

"how did green look?"

well, he was voted player of the game, which was cool for him, especially considering his counterpart on the other team.

to be fair to MB, however, he didn't have the o-line that Green did, and the Madison d was damn stout.

the other rb for Madison going to UTSA was a nifty runner too.

"it sounds more like a Romance Taylor type guy." ________________________ I hope so, but without all the dumb negative plays

I agree that he looked very good absent the 2 fumbles in the red zone. He did seem to have a better game than Malcolm, but like several noted before, his team was better and he had more room to run than did Malcolm.

I seent the game on TV as I got mixed up and unfortunately didn't make it to the live version. He looked like an absolute stud and should continue to wear burnt orange for the next four years. We could defintely find the touches for a playmaker of his caliber.
