S. Fla. put up nearly 40 on an off night. KU still has OU, Tech, Texas and Missouri on the schedule. It might be back to normal for Kansas.

I thought Mangino was playing awfully risky at the end with the game tied. Got the ball with less than 2 minutes on their own 3 yd. line. Instead of lining up under center, they're still in the spread, narrowly escaping a safety that would cost the game. Then after making a first down on around the 15, they start slinging the ball around. It was frightening. Then they go downfield which is a pick and run back into FG range. Just thought that was some stupid playcalling. But hey he gets the BIG bucks, and I do mean BIG.

Straight garbage, wish they would've won though. Kansas' D is weak, and their rushing game is very questionable.

Their D wasn't that good last year and neither were they. They won last year because they got all the bounces. They were #1 in the nation in turnover differential.

We all knew what Kansas was coming in. This isn't a suprise. They will put up points but will give up points as well. Last year they had better D stats but they had a very easy schedule as well. They forced TO's which was the big key and we will see if they have that dimension this year.

I thought they looked good getting those 2 TD's in the 4th to tie it up. They showed some toughness there on D to make some stops and then on offense got the job done. Just stupid play calling from their coach at the end and perhaps a bad decision by their QB.

Their secondary looked especially weak.

I wondered what all the hype about their defense this year was about.

If nothing else, they lost Aqib Talib, who was the key player on last year's D. They didn't replace him with someone almost as good or better. They got worse.

They also lost Bill Young, their DC of last season, to Miami. I wonder if that makes a difference...
