Houston remodelling

anyone here used any Houston area remodelers?? got any links to their websites?

would also appreciate any insight into what sort of costs can be expected with remodeling/additions...

I'm thinking of buying an older home that has already had a lot of updating done to it... I'd be looking at either extending the master bedroom out 10 feet on one side to make room for a full and modern master bath/closets... OR.. have a complete master bedroom/bathroom etc added on to the back of a house through an existing study just off the den...

I understand the concept of hiring an architect... but that doesn't help me right now...

I am contemplating putting my 2 y/o modern 3 story townhome for sale so that I can buy an older home in a neighborhood nearby... my thoughts are to find one in good shape and with a nice layout... then make an addition or even a 2nd story or something...

if I wind up selling my house and buying an older one THEN I'll hire an architect... for right now I'm trying to get a budget idea...
