Texas and Texas Tech tip off at 3pm on Saturday. I'm going to get together with some folks at the BW3s in Midtown, if anyone wants to join up.

If you don't mind, leave some kind of response on here so I'll have an idea of how many seats to reserve.

I have to write a will on Saturday. I hope to make it but cannot promise.

We did this last year for UT-OU in Norman and had a great time. I highly recommend it. SLX's ego did not set off the smoke alarm.

Me + 1 friend will very likely be interested. We were planning to catch the game prior to heading over to Minute Maid for the Rice game anyway. This would be perfect.

I come across much different in person. Still the same guy, but different effect.

If this Texas team finishes like they did against Baylor, Wisconsin, or Kansas State, the writing of the will might be very timely.

Although I have an idea it's not your will you're referring to.

Hi Shane: I'm interested in attending. I met you at Rice Epicurean when the recruiting guy from Inside Texas spoke a few weeks ago. Where is the restaurant? TIA, Michael Burg

Here's a link, msbesq:
The Link

The address is 510 Gray St.
Their phone number is 713 650-0002.

I'm not sure where you'll be coming from, but let's assume it's from the area around Rice Epicurean.

Take 59 north. Exit the Louisiana exit on the left of the freeway. It's after the Shepherd/Greenbriar exit, but it's weird because you exit on the left hand side of the freeway.

From there, stay left. The exit ramp will allow options to get off on Louisiana. Don't take it.

Follow the signs for Brazos, which is a one way street going north (actually northeast, but never mind that). You want to be on Brazos. It comes up real quick.

About 10 blocks up, Brazos runs into Gray. There's a strip center on the right. Buffalo Wild Wings is in that strip center.

I look forward to seeing you!

It looks like we'll have about 10 people, maybe more, maybe less. I never know whenever I do this kind of stuff. In any case, we'll have a great time. Hopefully Texas wins so I won't act up too much.

BTW, I just called to reserve a spot, which has never been an issue before, and they told me they weren't comfortable with doing that because of all the groups coming in. They're still for sure showing the game, so I'm just going to get there early in front of the big screen where the game is going to be showing, and then do my best to hold spots for people who show up. It's not ideal, so the more people who show up the sooner before the game starts, the better.

It's rough holding 10 spots as one person, but it's possible if you have 4 or so.

I'll try SL, but with a crawfish boil involving honies, the cookoff involving more honies and Texas/Rice that night it might be tough. I'm fresh single!!! Can't you tell?

Are you going Saturday night?
