I originally posted this in a response to another thread but decided to post it as its own thread to spread the word about some farmers markets that I've been to lately that have some quality products. There are a couple of microgreen farmers who sell great stuff (they also sell the same stuff to some of the nicer restaurants). This list doesn't include the big farmers market on Airline and is limited to a few relatively newer ones inside the loop (although the last one has locations in Clear Lake and in West Houston).
There's one on Saturdays at Onion Creek in the Heights (White Oak between Studewood and Heights Blvd.) and on Tuesday evenings at Christ the King in the Village (Rice Blvd at Greenbriar) The Link
There's the MIdtown farmers market at T'afia (Travis @ Alabama): The Link
Finally, there is the Central City Co-Op farmers market at 2115 Taft (between Fairview and W. Gray) in Montrose (they also have other locations). The Link
