Still in a weather delay. Gives me time to scroll back to the beginning of this thread and make sure these bifocals still work. Don’t need an eye chart for those cougs!!

Reminds me of the day at Gus' Camp when I was leaving Disch-Falk and a horrible rainstorm hit. I was parked close to the curb. Gus walked up and told me that he had to drive to the car store to get a loaner to go pick up a catcher from California. (The University gave Gus whatever he wanted to drive & he chose a stripped Chevy PU - no carpet.) I told Gus I'd just stay there and he could take my car. He said, "Is that your Mercedes? I don't want to impress him that much"

Gus got back, took the kid out to the pitcher's mound in a 2-3" an hour rain to see his future home.
 
I was with my 20 bestest closest friends who were stupid enough to be there on Tuesday. I was upset they cancelled at the time, but by the time I got home the temp was in the 30's with 20+ mph winds. I wouldn't have made it to the end anyway.
