Hotter 'n Hell Hundred

I was just curious as to whether anyone would be heading to Wichita Falls for the Hotter 'n Hell Hundred this weekend?

Ironically, this is supposed to be the hottest weekend of the summer in Wichita Falls ---- 109 on Saturday.

Thats why they are starting the race earlier this year. It's also the 30th anniversary of the event.

Things I remember from my childhood in the WFalls area (Holliday) .........tarantulas by the millions, scorpions by the millions, centipedes (huge black and orange ones) by the thousands, and a rattlesnake in the ;yard at least a couple of times a week. No thanks.........add to all that it's the meth capital of the planet.

I did it last year and I knew several people that did it this year. SO MANY CYCLISTS!!! Good town support though and was fun if you don't mind a crowd..
