Hotels for UT-ou weekend

I'm looking for suggestions for hotels in Dallas during Texas-ou weekend.

I was planning to stay in the downtown area. I am flying in for the weekend with a couple of friends and will be cabbing it to the game.

Are there any UT friendly establishments? Any places to avoid (ou hotels)? Thanks in advance.

I stayed at the Westin City Center in 2003.It is a great hotel with a perfect location for the west end. The problem was it was a sea of sooner fans. I would say something like 90/10 sooner fans. We got our *** kicked that day and hanging out around the hotel was not much fun. I would stay clear of this one unless something has changed in the last 5 years.

A great hotel in Dallas is the Magnolia. It is within walking distance of restaurants, is next door to the Texas Exes "Bash Before the Clash" and is right down Commerce Street from the Cotton Bowl. It also has a nice bar inside.
It is about a 50/50 Texas/OU split. I have stayed there the last 2 years and have had a great time. Nice rooms also. I have already booked my room there for this year.
We used to stay at the Fairmont. It probably has about a 60/40 Texas/OU split. It is nice also.

We've stay at the Hotel Indigo downtown. It's at a great location (1933 Main) with easy acess to the Cotton Bowl by car or cab. It used to be the Aristocrat. It's been really upgraded. Nice rooms, nice bar (but small), and walking distance to lots of restaurants downtown.

As far as sooners being around, I've never run into a problem.

Another one NOT to stay at is the Adam's Mark downtown. My wife & I stayed there in 2006 and it was 95% OU. And not only that, but it was sorority/frat central for OU. There was a lot of nice young talent but it was a mad house. Not only that but we showed up at like 2pm on Friday (took the day off) and the line to check in was HUGE. It took 20 minutes to check in. I'm not used to that. We stayed with a friend last year and likely will again this year.

Bottom line: avoid Adam's Mark too.
