Hot Air Balloon Rides

Anyone ever gone on one and how much did it cost. We are gonna get one for my mom for christmas. How much should we expect to pay per person? Can ya recommend anyone?

if u go to the trail of lights at zilker, they usually have a bunch of hot air balloon companies there at the end of the trail. you can get info from them there.

Actually - if you really want to go all out, do a google search for Hot Air Balloon festivals. There may be a handful in Texas. They always need volunteers to come out and assist with these things. My mom and I used to drive to Albuquerque for the mother of all balloon festivals, ended up befriending this old couple with one and got to ride it in every year. It's a pretty cool feeling being around hundreds or thousands of those things at dawn when they are inflating, drinking a cup of coffee. You can be a chaser, too - following their path on the ground to be there when they come down. This method won't cost a thing, if you can find one in your area.
