I think everything around this place is getting taken apart, but thankfully the Shoe is surviving. Rent is going from $750/month to $6000. Domestics going from $2 to $2.50.

one of the most underrated bars of all-time. i think they let me drink in there when i was 17.

I've got a group of 4 of my best friends from high school that all live in different houses, but within about 200 yards from the Shoe. Arguably my favorite bar in Austin.
