Horseshoe Bay Resort Marriott?

Last month's Texas Monthly did a review on Horseshoe Bay Resort Marriott and said it had the best beach in state for lakes. It said it wasn't on the water but had beach access.

Anyone stay there? Reviews? It is like $229+ per night but we might do that instead of flying out of state or isntead of Padre.

stayed there probably 20 times.

The beach is at the HSB yacht club within walking distance from the hotel. It's really nice.

Great place for kids, Marriott has a huge 20 ft.x 20 ft screen the put off the pool and play movies for the kids.

I was there last summer

the place is kinda overpriced but its very nice...my wife and I loved it. drinks and food are expensive but we were there to have a good time and didnt care

Rooms were nice. Food was good. Liked the little hotel bar they have and the pool area. There is another bar there too that I remember. also one out by the pool you can get drinks at. The "grounds" around the place are cool to take a walk around at night....esp the japanese gardens they have out there. The miniture Golf course right next to the hotel is ******* bad ***.

the beach is cool and is at the Yacht club which you get access too staying a the hotel. nice pool over there too
