No home cooking for the Horns. Okie State shoots 50 FTs at home. Texas is on pace to shoot a dozen while Tech has already shot 18. Horns FG. 3-point and FT % are good, but four more TOs than Tech and the FT disparity are the difference.

I was at the game and from what we saw, it was ugly. The Texas team that played last night is not the same team I saw play NC, Mich St and others. I know a win is a win and I'll take it but either we had an off night or they were playing down to the level of their competition.

Any update on Walker? He went down hard, left the court and never came back. I was surprised to see him start but he did play some good D last night while iin there. Hope he's OK.

The refs kind of forced our hand on Saturday by calling 6 fouls against us in the first 6 minutes of the game. By my count, 3 were ticky-tack.

The young guards are going through cycles right now where they have no clue what Barnes wants them to do. Holland and Yancy were the culprits on Saturday. It's concerning that next game, we'll probably flip things up and Croaker or Felix will be the weakest links. There's no continuity with this style of play, particularly on offense.

Holmes was also forcing too many bad possessions. I think he was trying to be a sparkplug and get things going, but he had some pretty awful shots without any time taken off the shot clock.

If Taylor matures as a player and accepts his role as a leader and distributing PG, he could be really dangerous. It's a shame that we need him to score as well, because we have enough other weapons that "should" be doing all the scoring. His D was top notch at the end of the Tech game. He's a special player and could start to really surprise people next season. If we get some good recruits and coach all these players up, I bet Isaiah could be a Kemba Walker kind of dude.
