Boy, did we regress. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
Saved our worse performance for the conference opener. Bummer.

Bad loss after weathering the 3 pointer storm by OU in the first half and taking a nice lead fairly late in the game. Missing those four foul shots late, especially the two by Feliz was a killer.

Now we have to go to Stillwater to face an angry OSU team that was upset in Manhattan by KSU today. Looking like an 0-2 start in conference when we need most likely at least a non losing record to make the Dance.

This conference is tough this year with Kansas, OSU, Baylor,ISU, and even KSU having quality teams. Then OU and Texas could steal some wins at home against the big boys. We are going to really have to defend the home court from here on out to get in the NCAA's and maybe steal a game or two against the better teams on the road.

I didn't get to see the game but sounds like similar ending as other games they have had except they held on for wins. I think they are likely to lose most close games in conference because they have no closer and absolutely no one who can shoot free throws with any consistency especially at the end of games.

It wasn't the missed FTs that did us in. It continues to be our inability to see where the ball is going on the defensive side. I don't think I've ever seen as many uncontested three pointers from any college basketball team. And that's not just the OU game, it's also the BYU and Mercer and Vandy games. Our young guys aren't understanding where they're supposed to be in either a zone or a man scheme. Sadly, Holland seems to be one of those guys that gets picked on, and he was supposed to be the "leader" showing everyone how to do it.
