Great first half so far by the Horns.

In the Big 12 Championship game of 2007, KD and Texas had a 32-10 lead in the first half, and then Kansas came all the way back, and tied it by mid way through the 2nd half. Kansas ended up winning in overtime, after they had beat Texas the last game of the regular season in Phog Allen when Texas had a 12 point lead.

Since those games, a lot have been near the same way with KU coming out on talk. Even against KD, they came back and beat Texas. That's how you know you can NEVER count out the jayhawks.

If you would've told me "Texas will have a really smooth first half," I would've guessed and been happy with KU leading 35-30. What a half.

Still, it's Bill Self, and this is Lawrence, Kansas, so it'll probably be a completely different team in the second half that Texas will have to compete against.

Noticeably absent from the production line is Taylor. Role players are contributing, he is not in command. I hate that it's either Tayor, and maybe one other random guy, or everyone else scoring. Hopefully Shaka can draw up some xo and get him Taylor in the game.

Taylor's actually playing really well. The fact that he's not having to score is a big plus for this team. KU is really keying in on him and it opened up a lot for Davis and Felix in the first half.

I was at the tcu game early and saw Ibeh shooting FT in warmups. He made 7 or 8. Don't know what happens to him in games.
