Horns vs K State

Horns are clanking the rim with poor shot selection. They’re going to have to do better than this. Not creating anything down low; not even mid range.
 
Horns shooting is really off. This could be ugly if Carr and Allen don’t start hitting a few shots. Not to mention Rice.
 
If you thought Texas got hosed by the referees in football, you should have seen the first half screw job in this basketball game today.
I guess this is expected on the road.

We're up 58-52 with 7:11 to go. Trailed by 14 multiple times in first half. Let's keep the 2nd half mojo going!
 
Horns are getting hosed in the 2nd half as well. Terry was so pissed a minute ago. I don’t blame him. Refs are calling touch fouls on us; while Horns are getting knocked to the ground with no call.
 
Of course there will be the comment made the officials are letting them play.
Sounds at times the announcers don’t know what to say during questionable calls.
 
Up 1 (65-64) with 2:02 to go. We’ve missed some big free throws down the stretch that will come back to bite us.
 
Just a massive road win so that Texas is now playing with house money Monday at the Phog. Had to win one on this road trip and that is now in the bag so Monday is all about opportunity.
 
Haven't seen a lot of our games this year, but today I got to see the worst game we've played and the best game we've played all in one game.

First half had me thinking "what a waste of jet fuel - put them on a DC3" Second half I was thinking HIC flying them home First Class in his hand-picked AirBus.
 
That was a HUGE win on road! I don’t think I’ve said this in a long time but we’re actually very tough! As Sabre said, Tale of 2 Half’s. I just want a 2 or 3 seed because 4 seeds SUCK!

wasn’t pretty but damn, what a win.

I expected to come back to Austin Monday from Kansas 0-2. Oh me of little faith. Instead KSU is 0-2 in their last 2 games and in 3rd place while our beloved ‘Horns are still the sole conference leaders in both men and women’s hoops.

got to clean up the TOs before Monday.
There, back to normal for me. Making lemons out of lemonade.

Announcers said the team isn't coming home today, but rather busing over to Lawrence to play Monday. Thanks to CDC, I love that idea. Fresh legs.
 
I've been waiting for this version of Bishop. He was like that a lot at Creighton... always messing with the opponent and then getting some high-energy offensive plays in there as well.

Still really, really bad shot selection for most of the game.
 
Down by 11 at the end of the first half. Up by three at the end of the second half.

If the Horns win the Big 12 Tournament and/or finish the regular season in first place I think they have to be a # 1 seed. The B12 is generally considered the best conference in the country so how could they not be a # 1?
I can’t see them lower than a two barring a total collapse.
14-4 wins the conference.
13-5 comes in second but we could still win the conference tournament and get a top seed.
Horns are in really good position.

The Longhorns will jump to the projected No. 1 seed line in Palm's Bracketology with the win, replacing Arizona. Purdue, Alabama and Kansas are the other projected No. 1s after Saturday's action, according to Palm. Texas will face the Jayhawks on Monday.

Still a huge amount of work to be done. @kansas, @ bailor, @the frogs,@sand aggy(they may be in last, but this game will be the pinnacle of their season). Really important to win al the rest at home. The back loaded schedule may have helped with all that has gone on as it helped Terry and the team to get more in sync with his game management style.
