Why did we wait so long?

I was thinking the same thing. We need to play the entire game with that same sense of urgency!

It looked to me like Herman was back to calling plays.

I did like several of the play designs near the end. The two point conversion where we motioned the 4th WR over to the right side to pull the safety away, leaving the DB one on one with Eagles with no help possible. The guy even played it pretty well, scooting over to guard slightly to inside of Eagles rather than slightly outside of him, once he saw his inside help had moved over. But Eagles made such a good, hard, quick fake to the outside before cutting inward on the slant that it didn't matter.

And then the TD pass play in OT was beautiful too. First the play-action freezes the safety for a split second, then the fake pass to the flat makes the DB guarding Moore slow down for a split second, and that's all it took to get Moore past his man with nobody able to help fast enough.

Not only great calls, but crisp execution. In each case, our guy set up a credible threat with the fake that the defense had to react to. Eagles really looked like he was running an out or a fade. Ingram really looked like he was taking the handoff. Sam really looked like he was throwing the flare to Schooler.

I was so happy to see Eagles pull in that 2 pt conversion that I didn't even care about his opinions on... wait wrong forum.

Was Black injured during the game? He didn't seem to be on the field late in the game.

Good to see Foster show up but, of our top six tacklers, five were DBs (with 19 solos) vs. only four front 7 players
This is not what you want

Agree^^^ Very telling about our LB's not being able to get to the hole and/or shed blockers to meet the RB.
Also, it says that ttu was passing a lot!
