Thx Tom Herman. You earned $5MM of your annual salary in that game alone. We should have never been in that position to begin with, but let’s just smile and pretend like everything is OK. Herman is a pompous bag of hot air.
 
Holy f’n crap, 2020. Yet, I’m totally proud of our kids never giving up and coming through in totally clutch situations.
 
had to have had 20 missed tackles. Just like I was watching last year all over again. We won the game. Yea. But I'm so tired of this crap. Stupid *** holdings, chop block, false starts. Sam getting sacked 2x with a 3 man rush. OLine. was awful. No pressure on the QB by the DLine so at least get your hands up and knock one pass down. Nope. Can't do that either. And don't even get me started on their onsides kick. Did these guys not watch the Cowboy game? Just go get the ball. You CAN'T let it go 10 yds in that situation.
 
Down 15 with three minutes and some change I told myself I am watching these last three minutes so at the end I can sing the eyes of Texas by myself in my living room for a team that won’t sing it to show I was still there win or lose. Still can’t believe what I saw! :hookem:
 
- Too many penalties (OL holding, defensive face mask)
- Too many dropped passes
- Too many special teams blunders
- Too many missed tackles
- this game was too much!

After much reflection that was an insane game. Never should have been down 15 with 3 minutes left but what a finish. Credit for never giving up.

Still.... Play 100 the whole game and you win this going away.
 
I'm giving Tom a pass this entire year. Minimal time to prepare before the season and all the COVID restrictions is showing, all teams are showing degrees of not being properly prepared and conditioned.

Show me a Tom Herman team with all Tom Herman recruits and a regular season to get ready. His last 3 classes and next two lead me to believe the future is looking good.

The first half offense was confusing. Sam had plenty of time to throw in the 1st half. But we kept trying to run up the middle on them. Then late in the game, when we had to turn Sam loose, we did and it worked - Sam ate their secondary up. It felt like our game plan was the opposite of what it should have been. We should have run up the score in the 1H passing, then ate time with ball control in the 2H.
 
Man! This game should never have gone to OT. Not against Tech. Waaay to much sloppy play. This team has a ton of work to do. Especially the D secondary. Don’t want to see another **** show like that.
