Horns offer 8th grader

The kid is 6'1 215lbs in the 8th grade playing RB. I think he will outgrow the position by the time he is 18.

If I knew how to tweet. I could claim UT offered me a scholarship and I act like a 4th grader.

I call BS on this until more evidence is provided. Anyone can claim anything and the college coaches can not even confirm or deny anything due to NCAA recruiting rules.
 
Maybe Mack Brown is an idiot for making this offer, but since Nick Saban, acknowledged as a pretty fair coach, did it too maybe we can cut him some slack?
 
Yeah, it's not like it's the only offer. I agree it's ridiculous, but the NCAA - the so-called protector of the student-athlete - is the one that has made this freak show possible.

It's great that they can drop the hammer on improper texting and calling an 18-year-old senior but they have no problem letting coaches slobber all over an 8th grader.
 
Anybody consider the negative impact on this kid's life? If I was an 8th grader with scholarship offers from the big name schools, I would really think that my excrement had no offending aroma.
