They did play tough tonight. Like I said in another thread, they will be fun to watch this year.

I'm not really one for moral victories, but it is encouraging that the Horns hung with a team that lost a nail biter to #17 ISU and stayed neck and neck with #12 Wichita State for most of the game.

I saw some of this - we were in control and never let them make a serious run in the 2nd half.
We have young players who are giving max effort.
But, it's the same old Barnes offense.

The 4 team's that made it to Kansas City, each played games in a Regional like tournament before they advance to Kansas City. I like the young team's effort and fight. Ridley look like a totally different player. Along with Ibeh. Keep up the good work.

Speaking of Duke, they have commitments from the #1, #5 and #14 recruits in the country. Many are saying Jahlil Okafor may be the best big man to come along in years. I think they may be the early favorite.

At least so far this season it does appear that the team wants to win and play better each time. This will not help much staying out of the lower quarter of the Conference, but it is refreshing to see the team actually trying to play as a team.
