Flying there so can't help get stuff out but looking forward to joining in the festivities!
 
Oh, it's ******* on.

We've all done this before...the Rose Bowl is DKR west as far as I'm concerned.

All you LA/OC/SD horns; please let us know what you can do/bring/contribute.

And on a personal note, I'm so freaking stoked to get to hang out with Robert and Katy again. We've only done this for a handful of Holiday Bowls, and a handful of Rose Bowls, but it's always been epic.

Weather.com forecasts a high of 77, and a low of 59, with 0 % chance of rain for pasadena.

I'm sure you cats will look forward to the mild temps.
 
and Katy, this will be prime time to use hornfans twitter for tailgate locale; ice needs etc. Can we fire it up?
 
My 2 favorite teams meet again, and in my favorite stadium! I can't wait.

Holy cow, I've been so out of it, it didn't really hit me that this is ucla week.

Robert and Will I'm in and wlll drive my truck over at 6am too so if ya'll still need something, let me know.
 
LOT 7 - change of venue given the ever shifting landscape of Rose Bowl rules.
Yep, we'll be there and the BLIMP will be flying (weather permitting).

Currently, THANKS TO BIGWILL, our plans are to arrive about 6am to get in line for the lot that should open at 6:30am.

Most people that I have talked to have tix along tunnel 13/12/11 which is the NW corner of the stadium. Given that, we are planning to tailgate in Lot 7, on the golf course. Presuming that we are in line early enough, we should be on the south side of that lot, resonably close to our entrance gate.

Rose Bowl tailgating rules do not allow alcohol consumption after kick-off. And since this game is at 12:30pm local time, TVs are probably out, but we'll see what other locals want to join up with us and what we can get done.

At the least we will provide some hot food (probably sausage wraps) and a supply of water/sodas/beer. Ccoolers will be put away for the game, to comply with the rules, and reopened for a limited time afterwards.

If enough people are interested in congregating and watching the OU/FSU game that evening, we'll see if we can find a good place, though Katy and I are staying in Pasadena and that's where it will be.
