If you recall, once a year I would go to Vegas and place a parlay bet for the benefit of Hornfans.com based on your input

Next weekend, I am going to Biloxi which has sports betting. I will place a community bet for all of us … if we win, I send all $ to hornfans.com

my question is … do you want the bet to based on overall season wins, overall conference wins, or first weekend parlay bet on three first weekend games … won’t have numbers til next Thursday …

I'll go 3 game parlay. I'm not a gambler so take it for what's it's worth but I'll go:
Lines from Vegas Insider-
OU -21.5 against Tulane
SJS +16.5 against USC
Alabama -17.5 against Miami.
 
Prolly should bet both lol …season long bets take forever to payoff … let’s see what lines I get Thursday

that OU line looks like ez money IDE !
 
Problem is we will have SO much more team intell after the season opener....

Trusting in Sark, I'm predicting, optimistically, at least 10 wins regular season....

Thinking back to Akers taking over, after DKR in 1977, with tons of talent.

Not a gambler as in unwilling to risk my own money so buyer beware. After the better part of 2 days I still have no idea what the rest of the post is supposed to mean.

it wasn't a slight of you. just funny. the wording sounded like... "i'm not a car mechanic, but i'd adjust the gear ratios between 2nd and 3rd and file the carboretor float valve open a wee bit"

Not a problem. Badass and I have been friendly competitors in ESPN prediction contests for 5-6 years. If someone besides him had made the same post it's unlikely I'd have replied.
 
Ok I finally made it to Biloxi. They use fanduel odds …

over under Texas reg season wins is 7.5 but at -125 … that’s not really worth the trouble for a season long bet

on the other hand Bijan Heisman odds are 3000-1 …. Hmm
 
Check out the first weekend games and give me your best three … I will link the odds

OU is now -22.5, I still like it

Kind of a blunt question meaning "would you like to make love tonight?" You hear this or something a bit more blunt in the red light district on the Boulevard de Clichy in north Paris.
 
All right folks … our Team Hornfans parlay is official for week one. This is what we got:

NC -6.5 @ Va Tech : Sep 2nd, 5:00 pm
OU -22.5 @ Tulane : Sep 4th, 11:00 am
Bama -17 vs. Miami : Sep 4th, 2:30 pm

I thought about Nd -9.5 vs. FSU and Texas -9.5 but went with NC.
