Hornfans opinion time: Dragonforce

So, what is Hornfans' opinion on a song like this

I think this song can be categorized with most Top 40's pop ********. It's catchy and novel the first few times you hear but after a while you feel like a monkey is ear-raping you.

Thoughts?

P.S. - there is definitely talent in that band, but they should focus their skills on something less crappy.

That was awesome. Almost as awesomely brutal as Dethklok. That was so awesome I can only listen to it once a week to prevent it from blowing my mind, much like Tenacious D does at about the 2 minute mark of Master Exploder. Pick of Destiny

There's nothing wrong with it. These guys are clearly doing what they enjoy doing while not taking themselves seriously, and have found a niche in popular music because it is trendy to ironically like inane things.

I find them hilarious, but not as funny as I did two years ago.

I like it- it's ridiculously over the top, but I enjoy it.

I snagged that album- all the tracks sound about the same. Probably won't ever get anything else by them, but I'm happy with the purchase. Always turn it up when one of their songs rolls up on the iPod.

On this specific song, chorus is nice and catchy. So far away....

When I hear that, a bad *** Megaman montage comes to mind. Reminds me a lot of video game music.

Mad guitar skills. I dig Dragonforce in small doses. I'm blown away at the guitar wizardry. I think they can do with less keyboard/video game sound stuff, but over all, I like them. I too crank them up on my Ipod.
