Anybody know why Hooker is missing from the Nat'l Team roster????

In addition, Nellie Spicer (Barrington, Ill.) and Destinee Hooker (San Antonio) are no longer training with the team in its preparation for the 2008 Olympic Games.

i don't know why she isn't training with the squad any longer; she certainly had some great matches during the china tour. perhaps it has to do with attempting to make the games in the high jump? at some point she was going to have to make a determination as to which sport she was most likley to make the olympics in (and which afforded the best prospect for success and a potential medal). i'm certain someone will offer more insight or information.

I say that's BS! The poster doesn't realize Hooker was in Colorado training with the US team.

Apparently she wants to go to China and if she can't do it in volleyball she'll do it in track.
