Honeymoon Destination

I am getting married next May and I am looking at destinations for the Honeymoon. I am looking at the Caribbean almost exclusively, and I am deciding between St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis or Turks and Caicos.

I saw the other thread on T&C, so I got some good advice from there, but I would appreciate any advice or info on the other two spots, or any other suggestions.

We are looking mainly for great beaches, and seclusion. We will probably stay for 2 weeks, 1 week at a smaller secluded hotel/villa and then one week at a larger hotel. if we went to St. Kitts/Nevis we would do Four Seasons Nevis for a week and one week in St. Kitts.

Thanks in advance.

I'm getting married next June and have looked exhaustedly at places in the Carribean. We'll be staying 2 weeks also and decided that an all-inclusive is the way to go since hotels are running $400-600 a night, plus $200-300 a day for food and drinks. We also wanted a place were there are no kids and was within a 4-5 hour flight of DC. We wanted to leave at 8AM and be on the beach before 2PM. I have looked at T&C, Nevis, St. Vincent, Harbour Island, etc. and we decided to go to an all-inclusive in Playa Mujeres called Excellence Playa Mujeres. For $700 a day, we upgraded to the Excellence package that includes spa treatments, 2 rounds of golf, premium bar, private beach/pool and bar and no kids. Another factor is choosing Playa Mujeres is that all the airlines are cutting their service by 25% and increasing their fares to Carribean. Here's a link if you want to check it out:

I'll be going on a honeymoon next April, and recently started a thread about Costa Rica. Since then i've started also looking at places in the Carribean.

Has anyone heard anything (or gone to) Punta Cana, Dominican Republic? Looks nice. I'm able to get a deal on a really nice hotel there, so i'm now considering it.

our flights will be free as long as the direct routes are still available that won't be a problem.

We have done Mexico so many times, that we are trying to do something a little different, but that place looks great. Private beach is nice.

If you want to do Dominican Republic, go to Cabarete DR. It's a kite surfing village 20 minutes from Puerto Plata. A group of us went there last year for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. Below is a link to the place that we stayed, there was a really nice 2 bedroom house next to our villa that was secluded and had its own pool. A lot of Canadians and Europeans spend their winters in Cabarete.

Another great villa across from the one above.

Here's the 2 bedroom I was telling you about.
