Home Cookin vs. Restaurants

The "best burger" thread got me thinkin ... is there any place in Austin (or surrounding) which serves a dish that's better than you can get from your own home cookin source? (mom, wife, self, whatever)?

I don't know of many - I've said before that El Arroyo makes a seafood enchilada that kicks the crap out of any Mexican offerings I can get my hands on. But I still make better burgers than anywhere in the city, and Mom's pot roast puts to shame ANYTHING I'VE EVER EATEN ANYWHERE.

The only kinds of food I have to go to a restaurant to get better than home are ethnic, like Indian, Asian, etc. I just can't make some of those sauces.
