Pac-10 official coordinatior's comment--if it's close, you go with the original call.

Huh? That can't be right. If it's close, but it's indisputably wrong, it's still wrong. In fact the rule permitting reviews refers to such a call as a "correctable errors" which "does not involve an error in judgment."Rule 2, section 12, art. 1(e).

The actual review standard says if "definitive information is unattainable with the use of the monitor, the original call stands." Rule 2, section 13, art. 4.

Such confidence is inspired by having the official coordinator not understand the rule.

I have to admit, the rear and side angles do look different for some reason. It's like they are not synched up. Very strange.

Compare the clock over the backboard with the clock imposed on the screen. The imposed clock is off. The rules specifically state you can't really on a superimposed clock image that isn't in synch with the actual game clock.
