HOLY CRAP!

No, that name does not ring a bell. I know Fleetwood Mac.

Will, you are old! (I think we are the same age, btw)

I guess I knew of them without realizing I did. I know their song Amputee but never knew the name or who did it. I guess I figured it was somebody else but other than that, thanks!

So, was she in the band or just did stuff with them? Opened for them? Lusted by them?
The Link

They had a song that referred to how they wanted Stevie Nicks to position her body in proximity to the singer's face.

Once upon a time she was my dream woman. I even used to get my hair cut by someone that looked a lot like her. I kept going back even though I got a bad haircut every time.

She has a beautiful voice. It's so rich and full of character. When you hear her singing, you immediately know who it is.

She's fabulous.

Beauty is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder. For me, Stevie's voice has too much vibrato and too many cigarettes to be anything but caprine.

Her pipes weren't so bad when she was younger, but, unlike a fine wine, they did not improve with age.

Nicks' sound while unique, fit the music and period during Mac's heyday. I doubt they would have sold over 100 million units without her.

I actually thought the band sounded as good as they ever have on "The Dance" in the mid to late 90s.
