Hoge Hates VY

It's like a maniacal hatred, like he actively rooting for the young man to fail.

His best moment is when he trashes college football and says something like "I am convinced the team who has the better athletes will any game in college fooball."

Ok, Merril.
 
1. After listening to the audio, it strikes me that Hoge is taking this whole thing too personally. I'd be curious to hear whether there is some history between the two.

2. Although I'd hate to believe the facts that Hoge asserts, I haven't heard Fisher, Chow, etc. dispute them publicly.
 
I tend to think Hoge is wrong, but I also see the world through burnt orange glasses, so I know I can’t be objective. But it doesn’t really matter. I hope Vince does well in the NFL, but even if he doesn’t, he’s already set for life (assuming he manages his money wisely), and he will always be a legend in Austin. Like Ricky, he did everything anyone could have asked of him for his college football team, and more. If he ends up not being a classic NFL quarterback, so be it, he gave us all a lot of thrills and memories. I will always look up to the man.
 
Hoge is a pathological liar and a borderline vegetable. Right of the top of my head I picked out the statement by the POS "Vince lives 3 miles from the stadium and takes a limo to work" First off they practice at Baptist Sports Park, secondly Vince lives in Governors Club which is 20+ miles away and he drives himself to practice in a ******* TRUCK!!!!!!!! HOGE is nothing but a bitter man.

Honestly, I don't know why this guy has had a burr in his saddle about Vince since day one. You'd think he was a bitter USC alum or something. There are any number of sports radio personalities that will say VY was one of the top, if not THE top, college athlete of all time. Yet Hoge would have you believe anyone could have run the Texas offense as well as Vince. And, that UT wasn't even the best team SC had played...poor SC just ran out of time. Is Hoge an aggy?

Amazed at the anti-Vince jihad this guy is on.
 
Hoge ****** up with his projection of Vince, I mean he won Offensive ROY and made Hoge look like an idiot.............he is like Capt. Ahab and Vince is the "White/Black" Whale.
