Really poor showing by her on behalf of our Gov't. Maybe she should RESET?
 
AS pathetic as that is, it is far less emabarrassing than when O gets off prompter, or has to function like knowing when or when not to toast the queen.
 
i am trying hard to see what is so egregious about her statement that it requires a post to bash it.

I think you are really stretching. Is it just a slow day but you felt that you just had to get something critical of a Dem out there?

Actually the rest of her remarks( the context you didn't know was right there in the link) make her quote look even stupider. as in Why yes yes we kill civilians but we don't mean to , not like those angry radicals. Oh sure they are still dead but you should know we feel bad and we will continue to feel bad everytime we kill civilians.

It was a really ignorant way to say it and diplomacy especially when it is USA and the Arab world is all about how you say it.
 
Chased away, how? It's obvoius that Hillary is in way over her head. But that allows her to fit in quite well with the rest of this administration.

The added context actually reinforces my response based only on what you decided to post. It is our claim to moral superiority that we would rather not be killing innocents even though we inevitably do.

The only problem with Clinton's statement in the context of US policy/attitude is syntactical. For all I know, it has something to do with how the statement will be translated.

In short, this is the usual no big deal.

She expressed her past, current, and future regret for inadvertently killed civilians in an inartful way. BFD. It's a waste of time to criticize our leaders for BS like this when we should be asking serious questions such as:

Why the hell are we still in Afghanistan? Where does the President get the authority to use military force in Libya without congressional authorization in naked defiance of the Constitution and the War Powers Resolution? What did "days not weeks" really mean? Why are we leaving Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt alone but yet we feel the need to insert ourselves in the internal affairs of Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan? When and why will we start a new war with Pakistan? Etc.
 
When Obama became President, I thought that I'd never heard a national politician say "uh" so much. But Hillary outpaces Obama by a longshot with the "uhs". She's extremely hard to understand. Complete a thought already.
 
I find it funny that people are still trying to defend Clinton or anything to do with the worst administration since at least 1977-1981, in every facet it has been a major fail.
 
Most of the highjackers were Saudis, including Mr. bin Laden, but we dont dare raise a finger at Saudi Arabia.

The Taliban had all but shut down the production of heroin, that is, until the US got there, and now there is a nice steady stream of it coming from Afganistan again. So not only do we bomb them, but we also protect their poppy fields.

Again, just because there are some bad people there doesnt mean you occupy and then bomb a whole country.
