Hillary Guilty of Perjury?

We live in a country in which people really don't think lying is a big deal. Politicians have trained us well, and now they have a lot of freedom to do it if the stage is big enough. (Ironically - it's like the adage "the bigger the lie, the more likely people are to believe it." The bigger the stage, the more blowback from people who think you should just let it go and the more likely that the person will not be prosecuted.)

The Clinton's have made lying into an art while achieving political success going back to Arkansas. They have never been held fully accountable for lying to constituents, investigators, judges, Congress or the American people. However, WJC was dis-barred from practicing law in Arkansas for some period of time. Point is HRC is going to get away with lying under oath or perjury once again re: her emails.

Pretty hard to believe a husband and wife, in different decades, were summoned before Congress and both blatantly lied under oath. Even harder to believe both either were the Prez or the leading Prez candidate.

The reason why bringing even this lesser crime to justice is important is to not set a dangerous precedent with major consequences.

Bill lied to Congress and skated. If HC does the same, then what's the point of any high ranking gov official telling the truth when questioned by Congress?

How can the actually important role of Congressional oversight retain any of its effectiveness with the precedent of lying under oath going unpunished? And yes Folks, they actually do investigate things of importance to our country.

Not to mention, what other gov employee (IRS, VA, etc) could get away with lying to Congress under oath without punishment? I doubt many, if any.

The double-standard has to stop somewhere. Only a fool would believe any lower level gov employee could get away with grossly mishandling classified info.

The Clinton's are the poster children for double-standard and it needs to be stopped now.

Think the cover-ups and lies were bad leading up to now, wait until she has the keys to the country and no boss limiting her actions...which Obama did plenty as SOS.

It's actually worse. Some people can get away with lying under oath. Some can't. Hillary Clinton can. Scooter Libby couldn't. Well Libby was pardoned. Average Joe won't get a pass and won't be pardoned.

There is a Jake Tapper video on CNN.com where he fact checks HRC perjury claim. He agrees that she obviously lied, but says it will be difficult to prove she intended to lie.

If that is the standard for indicting and finding someone guilty, we should do away with the criminal justice system.

HC, Comey, and the Lib media are badly losing this argument and it only drives the general public further away the more they try to explain it away with "lacked intent".

It doesn't take a high IQ for nearly every American to understand unintended breaking of the law will not keep any of us from facing consequences.

The lady broke the word for word law on several statutes. If "intent" was ever mentioned in any of them...okay let's debate it.

Since it wasn't, take the crooked excuses and shove them up your corrupt corn hole.

Being lied to is one thing. But taunting us as being too stupid to recognize the blatant law-breaking and hold you accountable is another.

I love how they keep using the word "Intent." I guess it wasn't her "intent" to delete 33,000 emails. I guess it wasn't her "intent" to call a video for the blame of Benghazi. I guess it wasn't her "intent" to say she wanted to put the coal miners out of business. Her whole adult life is about her non intensions. It's still mind blowing that she still gets above a 0% in the polls. She's much more fit for the penitentiary than for President.

latest AP poll --

Voters say Clinton wrongdoing on Email by a large margin 92-6

56% of Americans said they think the Democratic presidential candidate broke the law

Half of Americans - 50% - consider Clinton’s emails to be a major problem, up from one-third in October 2015

Liberals have always asked to be judged on their intentions, not their results. Now it turns out they don't have any intentions.

Hey, if they got away with, "It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is", why not throw it up on the wall and see what sticks?
These people can and will weasel their way out of anything, by any manner, with no regard for morals or integrity.
It's what they do. It's what they have always done.
