Hillary at it again

She IS horrible. I'm not a fan of Obama either, but it's clear that what he was saying is that Republicans were the only party putting forth new ideas at the time (which is true, IMO) -- not that he thought they were good ideas. What a stretch.

HRC needs to be cautious about **** like that... she is already considered to be a mean unlikeable person by most. Any more of this sort of thing and she'll start turning off people who currently support her but don't have negative feelings about Obama either.

Bill was a cool character back when he ran. He is more and more turning into HRC and the campaign is getting nasty. Did they just think the White House belonged to them? They're acting like spoiled brats with a sense of entitlement.

Is this Hillary - Obama rif as bad as the press is making it out to be...? It sure seems so.....and if its as bad as it appears, this may be hard to repair when you have the final winner.

If Obama gets the nomintaion, I would expect the Clintons to smile for the cameras and "cut him off at the knees" all at the same time.

If Obama wins, they'll become irrelevant. That's what they fear most, and why they're going all in now.

This whole thing is a sham. Obama says crap like "if clinton wins what changes". Well **** Barrack if you win what changes? If I win what changes? Nothing either way so who really gives a **** anymore honestly. This is just mindless. If one of these two losers wins all we get is more of the same **** from them and Congress which means more problems and wasted money than solutions only to have them tell us they need more of our money to waste. The same hold true is a Repub wins. Nothing is changing either way so we probably should stop worrying about this rif and whether or not it is real. At the end of the day it doesn't mean dick.

Texas007 made my day. Indeed, what will change regardless of who is pres? We may as well put our head between our knees and kiss our sweet asses goodbye.

We, as a culture, have jumped the shark.

Ah, well.... God bless Texas...

My point was more simply that the government isn't going to change no matter who is in charge. It did not mean our society or American was at an end. I will worry about solving my own issues and running my own life instead of worrying about which freaking loser from some political party is supposed to solve them for me. If only more Americans felt this way.

I'm not happy with what I see coming out of the Clinton campaign. Hillary is not the devil some want to believe she is, but she really doesn't have the personality skills to win national office. She's got plenty of brains and could handle the office better than some presidents we've had, but she is tone deaf as a campaigner.

The saddest thing is that Bill Clinton is damaging himself trying to help her. He shouldn't be making the petty attacks and cheap shots. He may be pissing away some of the goodwill generally felt about him which, in time, could diminish his ability to do the good things he has set about doing.

Texas 007, I believe there is a difference in the parties. Important differences. Sadly, the huge, largely repulsive things the parties have in common rightfully repel people like you. I'll keep showing up to vote, but it's an increasingly negative experience because I can't get excited about choosing between two poor options.

The Hillary-Obama thing is NO WHERE as mean and as PERSONAL as the Reagan vs. Bush 1980 or Bush vs Dole 1988 was. Those were personal and included their spouses.

it's hard to believe Hillary could actually increase her percentage of Americans who wouldn't vote for her under any circumstances. Won't matter though. Rs are gonna nominate Bob Dole part Deaux and she'll beat his ***.

LonghornLawyer, I probably should have used the word "many" instead of "smart".

the general election is very rarely decides on the issues or on the intelligence of a candidate (please don't read any comparisons here it's just a statement) they are a popularity contest. I beleve there are many undecided voters who, although know her name, have no real idea of what she stand for and what she represents....What they do know is that they are tired of hearing her.

Even my own mother, who has never voted Rep in her entire life, can't stand to listen to HRC talk. Now, i know my Mother <> general voters but if you listen to peiople you might see them trying to try other candidates on for size simply because too much of HRC talking is not a good thing.

I think unless she can crack those tears on demand she won't carry the general election...

I do not see what is so bad about Hillary Clinton's response. Basically, Obama took a swipe at Bill Clinton using Republican talking points, and then Hillary Clinton responded.

Republicans are always saying they are the "party of ideas"--they don't say we are the party of "good" ideas, because that is obviously implied. Also, Obama said the Republicans were the party of ideas "over the last 10, 15 years", well, what happened 15 years ago almost to the day? Bill Clinton was inaugurated. So, he is saying--the Republicans had the ideas and Bill Clinton did not.

This is a Democratic primary, what happened in the Republican primary when Huckabee said the Bush administration had an "arrogant, bunker mentality"? Did the other Republicans just agree with him? No, they attacked him. So did the Clinton campaign take his quotes a little out of context, maybe, but I also think it is fair to read Obama's comments as a swipe at Bill Clinton, and the Clinton campaign just responded to the swipe.

To those that quoted the GOP going at it I say, but we're democrats, we're better than you.

No, really. In all honesty it's probably all about tactics. Obama is playing tactics just like Hillary. He's just a different person wit a different approach so his tactics are just judged more civil by the press. But that's his whole message and appeal - that he brings a different kind of approach to politics, and to life, with him.

The difference between Obama's tactics and hillary's is that Obama's may be, or at least his supporters, myself included, want to believe that his tactics are genuine. That he's not just trying to win an election. And that he would rather lose than resort to the Machiavellian ******** that the Clintons seem to be so willing to dip into. The high road is a noble one.
