Hill Country Cabin(s)

My income is down and I have become a cheapskate. Any recommendations on a Hill Country cabin somewhere on the water (lake or river) for a single guy to retreat to for a few days in May on a cheap budget? Solitude and a view is important as well.

Thaks for the response but I was looking more to NW of Austin in the one to two hour range. I think I may have found what I'm looking for just outside of Junction on the South Llano River.

Took a group to Lake Buchanan a few years ago....Canyon of the Eagles. Simple accommocations but very relaxing.Canyon of the Eagles

Lake Buchanan is great if you're on a budget. Especially if you have water toys.
