Hilbert's on Lamar closed?

Looks like they're done.
I'm guessing that's why they opened the other location about a mile away on 38th?

They lost their lease. The new place looks cool, but not as much drive by traffic...which is fine with me since the Lamar place was impossible to get out of sometimes.

Hilberts moved over to 38th Street where the Taco Bell was (across from the Randalls). P Terry's will be opening a new location where the old Hilberts was on Lamar.

Hilbert's is indeed awesome. I think the original location had been there for 35 years or so.

The original location looked closed half the time, because the west sun was so intense in the late afternoon, they had to keep the blinds drawn.

Went to the 38th street location today and asked about the Burnet Road location. It is looking like they will be aiming for Feb 1st. Interesting note. The 38th st. location is an old style Taco Bell building with the arched windows and everything. The new Burnet Road location is going to be the new taco bell next to Dallas. Taco Bell is shutting down and HillBert's is moving in.

the first few times i had hilberts, it was great. but the last 4 or 5 times have absolutely sucked.

dan's or top notch are much better. drive the extra mile for better burgers.
