Linky to staying Classy!

Sorry, but I seem to remember all of the gloating Texas shirts when we upset Nebraska back in 1996. The "roll left" game. So, get off your high horse. Then we proceeded to get smashed by Penn State which was led by that pedophile scum.

I wouldn't buy the shirt but everyone does it. Haven't you seen all the Burnt Orange shirts on campus over the years with much less class than this one?

The fact that the MWC moved the game to Boise after TCU's declaring to Big East might lead me to get one of those shirts if I were a student.

As an adult, yeah - it's childish...but so are most sports T-shirts....

Nothing to see here. Every school has done it. TCU was justifiably hacked at having the game moved to Boise etc. and this is just a fun and (money making) way to celebrate getiing one last shot on way out door.

Congrats to TCU on beating Boise St. on their to joining the Big 12! In a rebuilding year, they've rebuilt on the fly and beat a top ten team. They can print a t-shirt for every game if they like.

"it's also TCU throwing up a choice finger to the Mountain West Conference, which voted to move the game from Fort Worth to Boise — where the Broncos hadn't lost a regular season since early in George W. Bush's first term"

Mt West moved the game? How does that happen when schedules are set years in advance? That sure has the look of a calculated move so I can see some justification to wave that finger...

I've always thought these commemorative t-shirts should be reserved for only the most epic, historic wins. A remember a conversation here a few years back about Miami's t-shirt for a regular season win over Texas A&M. I didn't think that win was big enough to warrant its own t-shirt, and I don't think this win is big enough either.

Schedules are USUALLY made years in advance. But, with all the shifting in the Mountain West (BYU gone, Utah gone, Boise State in), this year's schedule was done on the fly. Prior to their release, TCU was told they would get Boise St. at home. TCU had also requested a bye week following their season opener at Baylor. In the interim, TCU was extended, and accepted, an invitation to join the Big 12. When the official schedules were released shortly thereafter, TCU found they were traveling to Boise and Wyoming in November....the two coldest venues in the MWC. In addition, they were traveling to Air Force (a team that runs what is now considered an exotic offense) in the week following Baylor. They were also sent on the road to face San Diego State. In effect, the MWC sent TCU on the road against the Top 4 teams (besides themselves) in the league. Their home games?....New Mexico, UNLV and Colorado State. Think that was an accident? I think we can give them a pass for celebrating a bit after they basically wrapped up a conference championship when the MWC had done everything in their power to prevent them from achieving.

I liked one of the replies from an SEC fan (probably Bama) talking abt one of his t-shirts: ""Whats the difference between a porcupine and (Auburn) Jordan Hare stadium? A porcupine has 70,000 pricks on the outside of it!"

Best/worst shirt ever was the aggy shirt that said something like "for one day, the tape comes out/horns go on" or some **** like that. It was some amazingly stupid and unsurprising way for aggy to get in on our national championship glory.
