Agree on all points. Papa Patrelli seems to be a Grade A supreme bad ***. Peter also seems to be channeling Keanu Reeves for his part. Not that it's a good thing, but he's becoming like Horatio Cane to me, not good, but entertaining nonetheless to watch.
Peter Petrelli....what a dumbass. He could fly, move things with his mind, read minds, see the future, go to the future, figure out how anything works, destroy anything by either fire or electricity, and heal from just about everything, but he doesn't have the wherewithal to stop, look, and listen.
best episode of the season thus far, but that is hardly a stunning endorsement.
I find myself wanted to pound Hiro in the head with a shovel more and more myself these days. Tonight he broke his aggravatingly arbitrary "travel to the past" rule a few times with little regard... so why didn't he just go back and stop himself from opening the safe like he should have at the beginning of the season? This pisses me off a lot. It seems like this character exists only for slapstick and I'm growing weary of him. The bait and switch on the stabbing was predictable and boring.... although since I find Ando the better character of the two, I won't ***** too much.
Papa Petrelli is a good and necessary addition but the constant addition of semi-interesting characters followed by their quick demise (most recently the puppeteer) is disappointing... I'm hoping the same fate doesn't follow Dad.
I think they finally killed someone permanently, until Hiro or Peter goes back in time to prevent Papa Petrelli from healing himself with Adam's powers.
Mr. Petrelli might save the show for me. I like how he is trying to round up the problematic powers, like precognition. Hopefully he rounds up the time travelers as well, so we can get some permanence in this flailing show.
There were 4 faces on the painting on the wall. One looked like Pa Patrelli, one was the black dude, one was either Pa Parkman or the Blue Flame guy (sorry, bad with names). Can't figure out who the guy with the mustache is.
