Mizzou fails to commit to the Big 12.

Kinda of hard to reconcile Neinas' statement that Mizzou will continue to be a member in good standing of the Big 12 with Mizzou formally looking for greener grass.

Wonder if OU will stick or bail? Will BU sue Mizzou if the Tigers go to the SEC? Just when one thought things had settled down for a while, the circus continues.

I don't really care if MU stays or goes; they were always a likely contender to fill the final SEC spot. If they do leave the Big12 will be at 8 and, I think, those 8 will stay if the conference moves quickly to replace those who've moved on. I say let the Tigers escape and add BYU, Boise State, TCU (Big 12 is much better option for them that the Big East) and one other (Rice, Louisville, West Virginia). I still think a viable Big12 is our best option, and apparently many of the remaining programs feel the same. As far as OU is concerned I don't think they'll ever be accepted to the PAC without the Horns, and they aren't interested in going anyway else. I'm not even certain they really wanted to go to the PAC in the first place; it could have been a ploy to get some concessions before re-committing to the Big12.
