Really no political stance should be allowed in football.

I have no problem with an athlete in ANY sport or at ANY level being active in politics...as long as they do not bring that into the locker room or on to the field of play. When they bring it to the workplace, and let's call it what it really is, then it is detracting from the mission at hand, which is to win the damned game.

One must consider whom all of the "Movement" includes and why the "Thought Police" stifle freedom of speech and do so under the guise of protecting freedom of speech, (All Lives Matter-get fired:Black Lives Matter-o.k.). And they talk of peace with acts of violence, during activities of their version of "Hate Week". The bigger question is when will their Big Brother arrive on the scene, as he has done in societal uprisings throughout the history of the world. He will be there in time, he always shows up, with his "Thought Police" and "Minister of War" by his side.

Within this classic ("1984") all might see somebody who looks familiar today, in the crowd, on the street.
