Louie C.K. has a show on FX "Louie" that's available on instant. What's weird is it's a lot edgier than his show that used to be on HBO which I really enjoyed as well.

If you like documentaries, two really good ones were recently released on instant:

Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work - One of the best docs I've seen ever. Rivers is the perfect subject, and it ends up being one of them most (seemingly) honest portrayals of a 'celebrity' I've ever see. I worry that many people will preemptively judge this movie because it's about Joan Rivers, and not give it a chance. The Link

Exit Through the Gift Shop - A documentary about famed street artist Banksy. I could write more, but I like to recommend people watch it without knowing too much about it so that by the end you won't have a pre-formed opinion. The Link

Last night I watched Rock Prophecies (Netflix link), one of the best documentaries I've seen. It's about Robert Knight, a photographer who captured some of the iconic photos of rock guitarists beginning in the late 60s up to the present. He took the last shots of Stevie Ray Vaughn following his show in August 1990, and was one of the last people to speak with him.

You don't have to like photography or guitars to love the story about this guy. There are some very moving moments with his mother who has Alzheimer's, and some good news for both of them towards the end. Film is 79 minutes long.

Available for streaming. Highly recommended.

P.S. Here's a screen shot from the film. Robert Knight (right) went to visit photographer Jim Marshall in San Francisco. Marshall met them wearing a Longhorns t-shirt.

Two additional movies that I really liked were "City Island" with Andy Garcia and an Argentinian film "The Secret in Their Eyes". Both are available instantly.
